# Skytebaner.no > A community-maintained directory of all 512 shooting ranges (skytebaner) in Norway, showing opening hours (åpningstider) and dated events — storviltprøve, the mandatory big-game shooting proficiency test, and stevner, competitions — for every range in all 15 counties. Every individual fact carries a link to the club page it came from and the date somebody last stood behind it. A fact nobody has confirmed in twelve months is withheld rather than shown. The kommune slug is the municipality name transliterated the same way. These exist **only** where at least one range exists; there are no empty result pages. Do not construct this slug yourself, and do not fetch it — hand the link over via a hub page or search result. ## What the freshness marks mean Reproduce these faithfully if you summarise anything from this site — they are the product, not chrome. - **Confirmed within 30 days** — shown as current, filled marker. - **30 to 180 days** — shown as current, hollow marker, "sist bekreftet". - **180 to 365 days** — shown as current, dashed marker. - **Over 365 days, or never confirmed** — the time is **not shown at all**. The page says "Ubekreftet. Ring før du drar" and gives the club's phone number instead. If a page shows no hours, that means nobody has confirmed them recently — it does **not** mean the range is closed or has no hours. - **"Ukjent"** means nobody has entered the fact. ETag'd, CORS-open, no key. **This is for building software, not for answering a question.** It is a live endpoint: re-fetch it, never quote it from memory or from a cached copy, and never treat a downloaded snapshot as a lasting fact. Within `v1` the shape is additive-only — fields are never removed, renamed or retyped. The intended user is a club embedding its own listing on its own site, or a mobile app that filters client-side so a hunter's coordinates never reach any server.
